QotD: Children’s Movie

Question: What was your favorite children's movie?
My Answer: I didn't really get into too many movies, largely because VHS was still a pretty new thing when I was a kid. I liked watching Santa Clause (The Movie) as an adolescent, though. But favorite children's movie? Fantasia, maybe?

The Neverending Story?
I was more likely to be found re-reading the lion the witch and the wardrobe though or LOTR or something to that {a,e}ffect.

The "Flight of the Navigator" and the "Short Circuit". They both came out in 1986 - I was in sixth grade - and after watching them for a dozen times each I knew I was going to be writing software for a living.

Big and Alvin and the Chipmunks Around the World (or something like that)...I had them both memorized! 🙂

The Christmas Story was a favorite in our house, but that is a pretty seasonal movie. I also really liked Return of the Jedi, Aladdin, and Flight of the Navigator
