QotD: Keyboard

Question: Which keyboard do you use and prefer?

My Answer: Fortunately for me, they're on and the same: the keyboard Apple ships with its desktops. I used the black ones for a long time and held on to them even though I had a white one, but I finally gave in when I moved here to PA. The black ones are just a little stiffer… though I'm using one now because two days ago, when cleaning my white one, the "o" key stopped working. I guess they don't make them like they used to. 😉

  1. The Matias TactilePro r0x0rs. As promised, feels like the old Apple Extended II and almost as good as the classic IBM.

  2. The Macally iceKEY. (I bought mine through newegg.com for under $30.)

  3. Apple Bluetooth keyboard. I love it. I do wish it had scissor keys like the portables though.

  4. I can't stand the height or clickity-clack of most keyboards' keys, including Apple's own. Without my MacAlly IceKey or laptop keyboard, typing anything lengthy is a lost cause for me.

  5. some flat white kingston... feels a lot like an Apple laptop keyboard. it has silver "media" buttons on top. (play/pause, forward, back, volume, eject, sleep)

i dont remember the model, but i love it. 🙂

  6. a PowerBook keyboard... I tried a Bluetooth for a while, it really does seem too big/tall.
