QotD: 1 Million Videos

Question: Did you think Apple would sell 1 million videos in less than three weeks?

My Answer: I did not. It just shows how many people have begun using the iTunes Music Store, I suppose. I've yet to buy a video (though I have been converting many of the videos I already have to iPod format). I still wish I could get trailers on my iPod, though.

In fact, I'd pay $19.95/year for a service that, given a listing of three theaters of my choosing, automatically synchronized my iPod with show times, phone numbers, and the movie trailers for the currently playing movies.

  1. I just bought my first video about 5 minutes ago: Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim because everyone needs more Christopher Walken.

i bought iPodner to convert video, but it doesn't seem to work well with mp3 audio because I can't convert my 24 Season 5 Trailer to iPod and have audio. Bastards.

  2. Justin, you don't have QuickTime Pro? I've been using "Export" in QT Pro with no problems.

  3. I have Quicktime Pro. Its the only video clip I have had trouble with.

Here. Give it a shot for yourself: (this video link will self destruct in a couple of days)

  4. I bought my first two videos today: Boundin' and Weapon of Choice. Now just to get a video iPod...
