Shot a 76 at Whispering Woods

Speaking of Whispering Woods, I played Wednesday and shot 76 there, easily the best round of the year. It was only the third time I'd played the back nine, and I'm starting to figure out some of the shots and yardages.
I played earlier in the morning with two friends for a course review, but was too close to the ball and my stance was too closed.
In the afternoon, I shot 37/39, hit 12/14 fairways, 61.1% of my greens, and got up and down only 2/6 times (there are the four bogeys). I had one penalty stroke (lateral hazard) and took 32 putts. The only putt I made over four feet all day was a birdie at the third after a weak chip to 15 feet. 😛 Hitting 11 greens, I should have made a lot more birdies than the one - including a four-footer at the 18th that somehow went right instead of left one or two balls.
