The past few days I've seen two movies that are probably under-rated: Breach and Shooter. It's been awhile since I saw a good sniper movie - Enemy at the Gates didn't cut it.

I agree, both very VERY underrated.
I especially felt that way about Shooter.

When I started reading about Shooter, I was a little worried that Hollywood was going to take yet another fine novel and butcher it for the big screen, but I was pleasantly surprised by the film.

I saw Breach recently, and was similarly extremely impressed with it.

Funny, I was just thinking about how long it's been since I saw any modern (ie, not WW2) war/spook agency movies. I'll check them out.

Do you mean The Contractor (2007) (V) (a.k.a. The Shooter) or Shooter (2007)?

It's now on my movies-to-see list since Breach, which I was about a month ago, was worthwhile.
