The first two minutes of this video are lame, but the energy contained in the sequence of shootout attempts is electric.

I wasn't able to attend the game (I stupidly didn't even consider buying tickets until, you know, two days after they went on sale, at which point they were sold out), but I wish I had, despite the weather. The atmosphere had to be incredible.

It was awesome watching Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins play a game of pond hockey. Five minutes into the first period, the snow began piling up on the ice a bit, and I couldn't tear myself away. Aside from hitting the fast forward button on the DVR to skip the commercials, I didn't move.

What a game. Picking up one of these is tempting.
