What I’m Listening To

Remember when everyone's blog included a "what I'm listening to" section? I even had a script and some files that uploaded my playlist to my website so you could see the last 20 or 100 songs I had listened to.

Oh, those silly days of… 2004 or 2005 or whenever that was. 🙂

  1. I had one of those too hahaha. Now it's all bout Last.fm...

  2. Heheh. Sure, last.fm is the place to log your listening habits. But who's to know what your username on last.fm is?

I really do like to know what people I recognize and share thoughts with are listening to. Although if they bother to write an actual review of something, that's even better.

So yea, I'd be the lame person writing a script to display listening habits from my recordings on last.fm. 🙂

  3. Addendum: I actually care a lot more about "What I'm listening to" than, say... AIM/GTalk/MSN contact info, "Press my buttons" and Xbox profile. One day, I'm sure the Xbox profile info will be the "oh, those silly days of 2008" 😉

  4. Exactly - why run your own script, logging your listening habits, when you can have last.fm do the heavy lifting?
