Went to a cow farm today with an "explorers" group. I was surprised by one thing: how skittish cows are of people. They don't like to be petted, though the few that did seemed to enjoy it.
And cows will sniff your hand just like a dog. But their noses have a whole lot more slobber on them.
P.S. Apparently a lot of people don't realize that male cows don't have udders. Ugh.
