HDR Course Now at DSLRU
Posted April 20th, 2010 @ 06:50pm by Erik J. Barzeski
We've posted a new - and free - course at DSLRU covering the hot topic of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography.
The course is available at http://dslru.com/courses/D1004 along with ten other courses, all priced free or inexpensively.
Don't forget, too, that you can enter DSLRU's launch contest to win free software from Nik. Registration at DSLRU is FREE.

I'd like to buy some courses on the site, but the fact that you seem to offer only Flash as the video interface is a big turn-off. This is the kind of content I'd be most likely consume on my iPhone or iPad, and there are plenty of good (and free) photography podcasts out there that will work just fine on my portable devices. I'd be more than happy to pay for quality courses, but not when they're only offered in an increasingly irrelevant video interface.

You'll be able to download the videos shortly. And if you can look at your activity monitor, you can download them now.

We're also working on an HTML5 version. There's actually a problem in Safari (although oddly not Chrome), which is holding things up.
Also, a number of courses are image and text-based, not video-based. Those look great on an iPad.

Cool. I'll look into some of those for now and look forward to the HTML5 version/downloadable videos
