Qwikster

First, why isn't it "Qwixter"?

Second, I get the "price adjustment." It makes sense, and though I've dropped DVDs by mail (regrettably - I simply never had the time to watch them when I had them), I retained the streaming.

The creation of Qwikster virtually guarantees I will not ever sign up for both services again. The separation not only means I can't see which DVDs are available for streaming and vice versa, it completely removes the temptation for me to sign up from within Netflix when I find a movie I really want to watch streaming that's available on DVD. Whether that meant a one-time payment for a single DVD or signing up for a subscription service.

I'm not a market expert, but this just seems dumb, and customers seem to realize that:
