iPhone 4S Battery Life

After reading this article, I made a few changes. The first few days my battery life was really bad.

I first did a deep drain. The phone sat at 1% of moderate usage for 45 minutes, despite going from 3 to 1 in about ten minutes. That seemed to help.

Then I did some things like turning off the NY Times and a few other things. Nothing drastic - I want to be able to use every bit of what my iPhone can do - but I remember flicking a few switches here and there. Three, maybe four?

Battery life is better. I downloaded the app mentioned too, the system one, and occasionally look in there. Usage seems to be about 5% on average when "idle."
