Easily Watermarking Video on OS X

Is there a great utility out there which will easily allow you to watermark a video on OS X?

I'd like to watermark some video before uploading them to YouTube. Obviously I can do this in iMovie or Final Cut Pro, but I'm looking at more of a batch utility.

The videos are .avi files from a Casio camera (high-speed video of golf swings).

  1. I can't speak from experience but ffmpeg can do this on the command line. Googling turned up this article that makes it look pretty simple Watermarking Videos from the Command Line with FFMPEG Filters. Transparency/translucency is however it is in the PNG file.
