QotD: 1 Million Videos
Posted November 1st, 2005 @ 09:31am by Erik J. Barzeski
Question: Did you think Apple would sell 1 million videos in less than three weeks?
My Answer: I did not. It just shows how many people have begun using the iTunes Music Store, I suppose. I've yet to buy a video (though I have been converting many of the videos I already have to iPod format). I still wish I could get trailers on my iPod, though.
In fact, I'd pay $19.95/year for a service that, given a listing of three theaters of my choosing, automatically synchronized my iPod with show times, phone numbers, and the movie trailers for the currently playing movies.

I just bought my first video about 5 minutes ago: Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim because everyone needs more Christopher Walken.
i bought iPodner to convert video, but it doesn't seem to work well with mp3 audio because I can't convert my 24 Season 5 Trailer to iPod and have audio. Bastards.

Justin, you don't have QuickTime Pro? I've been using "Export" in QT Pro with no problems.
