Roses are FF0000

Spotted on the Web somewhere:
Roses are #FF0000, Violets are #0000FF, All my base are belong to you.
See now if it were me, I'd have written "#f00" and "#00f." I really like CSS shorthand and I dislike capital letter hex, for some reason.

Yeah, lowercase is better. easier to distinguish between numbers (8 != B for example)
it's amazing how many people don't realize that CSS allows for that shorthand in RGB values.

I actually like writing out all 6 digits, mostly because it allows for easier fine-tuning of colors when I inevitably decide I got it wrong the first time.

I'd prefer this version:
Roses are #F00
Violets are #00F
chown -R you ~/base
