Apple's Software Quality Decline There are a few counter-arguments in the comments, including: Software development is a process, not a product. Perfection is impossible. Why? Because […]

I missed the anniversary of his death by a few days, but I'm happy (and saddened at the same time) that this site is still online: http://www.apple.com/stevejobs/. Happy to read the memories and thoughts of others, sad that it's not still just a bad dream.

The Tech21 iPhone 6 Cases are out, and I picked up a clear checked design one at Best Buy. Now my entire family has Tech21 cases, and I currently believe they're the best: they're not overly bulky but they offer a good amount of protection. I may, now and then, slip the iPhone 6 back […]

Daring Fireball: Apple Watch: Initial Thoughts and Observations Apple Watch Sport (aluminum/glass): $349 (not a guess) Apple Watch (stainless steel/sapphire): $999 Apple Watch Edition (18-karat gold/sapphire): $4,999 Shocking at first, but the more I consider it, the more accurate I think it is. Except the Edition price. I think that's going to be $9,999 or […]

Using app-specific passwords: If you use iCloud with any third party apps (such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or BusyCal) you can generate app-specific passwords that allow you to sign in securely, even if the app you're using doesn't support two-step verification. Using an app-specific password also ensures that your primary Apple ID password isn't […]
