Put a spinning gyroscope into orbit around the Earth, with the spin axis pointed toward some distant star as a fixed reference point. Free from external forces, the gyroscope's axis should continue pointing at the star--forever. But if space is twisted, the direction of the gyroscope's axis should drift over time. By noting this change in direction relative to the star, the twists of space-time could be measured.

Another site just launched. The operators were just talking with us about buying the evolvr web software. They didn't even get a price yet. Their site uses PayPal and Dropbox. It has no queue, no notifications, no accounts, nada.

The site even copied the language, pricing structure, the "three steps," etc.

Who needs enemies when you've got friends like this?

The higher gas prices go, the more and more and more I am seriously considering a hybrid for my next car in a few years.

But where are they? Honda has a few, but not in the CR-V. Why not? It's not because only small cars are good hybrids - Toyota makes a Highlander hybrid (then again, it only gets 28/28 MPG).

Lines on balls help about 20% of golfers. They hinder or have no effect on 80% of golfers.

V1 software sucks. It's crashy, super-expensive, ugly as sin, and a pain in the rear to use.

Get a Mac and get Analyzr. Smile more.

Sometimes, in business, it pays to be confrontational.

It's worked for stupid little fat Italian guys who think basic science is mind-blowing, and it's worked for big companies as well.

I'm not sure what's worse advertising for your "abilities" as an instructor: this any of these.

Why bother?

Then again, people will buy.

I'm not up for an upgrade for several months. So I'll just wait for iPhone 5. I'd buy a bright green phone. Can we do that, Apple? Custom colored phones?

An iPad, but larger. You get a free "remote" which is like an iPod Touch - maybe it even is an iPod Touch - which just mirrors the on-screen display when it's showing screens of apps and which shows remote control functions when content is playing.

But will they do it? Nah. Not for awhile anyway.
