If this is ever released, it will sell for quite a bit of money. WOW. Found via Kevin Fox.

I must admit to feeling a bit burned by the Nintendo DS. The darn thing has all of four games (ok, slight exaggeration). Pretty pathetic, really. Anyone want a Nintendo DS + Tiger Woods for, I dunno, $150, including S&H? 😛

Apparently I have to buy a new TiVo today. The one I have has died. Died died died. It just says "Welcome. Powering Up…" forever. I don't mind too much. The toughest thing will be re-creating the Season Passes. I only had about four or five shows saved that I'd not yet watched or wanted […]

I posted a story at The Sand Trap which discusses the distance professional golfers hit the ball these days. My conclusion is that distance is not everything, but that other factors, such as player conditioning, course conditioning, the lob wedge, and the spin players get from the rough are the main reasons scores get lower […]

Waiting awhile before purchasing a digital camera was a very smart thing to do. Bummer for my Nikon pal who told me to do it, because it's Canon that's leapt to the forefront. I'm geeking out today.

My 1 GB iPod shuffle is on its way. Someone owed me a few bucks, so instead of asking for the money, I asked for an iPod shuffle. And kicked in an extra $40 to get the 1 GB model. Should come in handy when I go to the golf dome and hit balls during […]

Anyone know how I can get a Canon EOS 20D inexpensively? What accessories/package would you recommend? I'd like to keep the total cost at around $1.5k. B∧H seems to have the best price - about $1.4k - for the body and the 18-55mm lens. At this point, this is merely an exercise in… I dunno. […]

Well, this about tells the story: Acquisition price: $16.93 (USD) Sale price: $79.19 (USD) Let's see, that's only a 468% increase. In about a year. Not too shabby.

DirecTV sent me an email (no doubt everyone else got it to, no, I don't think I'm special) announcing some plans for 2005. They include: Four new HDTV satellites (for over 1500 channels) New 100-hour DVR with more interactive capabilities Mover's connection Refer a friend, get a free month of service Better website In other […]

I'd pay up to $1000 right now for a Mac mini with an LCD to replace the factory car stereo in my 2001 Pontiac Aztek. Screw having to use my iPod in the car - I'd have a little copy of iTunes complete with visuals. That'd be sweet! That'd just be for the stereo! If […]

Auto-pay systems are great. I've paid my Cingular bill "automatically" for the past two years or so. I don't have to worry about it - $60 or so ($39.99+$7.99+"taxes") is paid every month without me having to lift a finger. Today, curious to see how much I talk to Carey, I actually dropped in to […]

Yep. Flip through the pictures and you'll see 'em. It's good to know the Commander in Chief has at least got some good taste.

I wonder if, as a DirecTV subscriber, I'm eligible for this promotion with the iTMS: Showtime Networks announced today that it has selected Apple gift cards and iTunes Music Store gift certificates for the its first quarter 2005 acquisition campaign. Qualified consumers who sign up to receive Showtime programing and subscribe for at least three […]

Today, when trying to find the kid's bib, I found an Uncrustable in Carey's backpack. Basically, it's a sandwich in a bag. No crust - and filled with peanut butter and jelly. I must say, I wish I had about 10 right now. I'd eat them all. I love that there's enough peanut butter to […]
