Question: Are you a member of or do you exercise at a health club?
My Answer: No. My apartment complex has an exercise room as well, but I don't use that. I simply lead an active lifestyle that involves lots of activities.

It's been exactly one year since, uhhh, last year, and that means that Apple is now 28. Founded on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, Apple has shipped nearly as many mini iPods as it is years old today!
Happy Birthday, ya big fruit. 😀

Question: What's the best April Fool's prank you've pulled?
My Answer: The rainbow stickers. That's all I'll say about that.

I returned some walkie talkies that didn't work yesterday to Sports Authority and they asked for my driver's license. They swiped the driver's license, then, and the whole thing made me wonder "why the hell do they need it?" I'm still not sure why. Perhaps I'll try refusing next time…
On the way home, I saw a truck pulling a trailer which had nothing but a large A-frame (two-sided). Plastered on each slope of the "A" was an ad. The sole purpose of this extra gas-wasting car in my way is apparently to get me to buy non-aluminum siding from who knows who at a special "Spring" price? I don't think so.

Question: What was your favorite cartoon as a kid?
My Answer: G.I. Joe was the typical boy thing, He-Man, and the lamer Gummi Bears, Snorks, Grape Ape, etc. I can't say I have a favorite, and I am not even sure I cared for cartoons beyond the age of four or five either.

Question: Revenge: best served cold or best left in the fridge entirely?
My Answer: I've got better things to do with my time than to hold a grudge or to get revenge, but sometimes thinking of what I could do entertains me for a few minutes. 🙂

As of right now, I have 9235 songs, 35304 listens, 104.9 days of music, 3.8 listens/song, and my favorite song is "Up!" by Shania Twain. These statistics are courtesy of iTunes PlayStats.
I've long wanted to create an entire application that analyzed people's playlists, showed them charts and graphs of their genres, which artists they had polar opinions on, and so on. Since nobody would pay for that, the idea has always been shuttled aside as a "when I have free time" project. And hey, as soon as I have free time, I'll be sure to get right on it!

Fun with memory!
*** malloc: vm_allocate(size=1069056) failed (error code=3)
*** malloc[7732]: error: Can't allocate region
PulpFiction has exited due to signal 10 (SIGBUS).
This is what happens when you attempt to process a 9.2 MB file without an autorelease pool inside your processing loop. Wheeee!

People continue to let me down. Day in, day out. I know myself pretty well, and I've got damn high standards for myself. I let myself down quite often, and I beat myself up for it. But dammit, how low do my standards for other people have to be in order to survive in this world? What's the bare minimum I should require of people? I'm sick of lowering the bar of expectations. The thing is nearly subterranean at this point!
Perhaps that's where it belongs. Perhaps that's where the moles, shrews, worms, snakes, and whatnot can finally make it over. I'm so sick of lowering the bar!
I'm utterly, completely disgusted. Fuck most of the people in the world, man. I refuse to lower my standards anymore. If that means I'm going to be disappointed, well, I'll become a hermit and fish every day. Fish don't lie, cheat, steal, backstab, undercut, and whatnot.
Fuggit.

Question: If you could bankrupt any company in the world, which would it be and why?
My Answer: Let's go with whatever company runs Gap, Banana Republic, and every other $99-for-a-shirt-that's-already-torn-but-is-"good-fashion" cookie-cutter whatever.

Question: What percentage of your time is spent using the terminal (if 100% = terminal + "GUI apps")?
My Answer: 5%, but that's also a good thing: it demonstrates that I can get in and get out very quickly when I need to do CLI work.
